Template Ties per Column.lsp

Template tie sits inside the vertical bars — legs = outer tie leg − 2×tie Ø − 2×vertical bar Ø. Used for holding column verticals at layout/erection (matches your Excel: 27" & 18" outer → 23.244" & 14.244" template with #6 ties + #9 verticals).

Calculated Values

Leg convention: B & D = tie legs across the width, C & E = tie legs across the depth (out-to-out of tie). Total tie length = perimeter + 2 hook extensions − bend deductions. Hook extensions use exact ASTM/PCI standard-hook table values. Inner tie links: purple in the preview — crossties get one 135° + one 90° hook; closed pair ties use the same shape as the outer tie.
